🧰 Participant's workspace
Only the following items are allowed on the participant’s table:
– Flask (filled with water)
– Hookah shaft (disassembled)
– Saucer (separate from the shaft)
– Bowl
– Tobacco
– Foil
– Awl (or other tool for making holes)
– Hose
– Ready-made (heated) coals
– Tongs
⚠️ All participants work with the same sets of equipment provided by the organizer.
The use of any additional items or modifications to the equipment is prohibited.
👀 Referee
Each participant is accompanied by a referee who:
– controls the cooking process,
– monitors compliance with the rules,
– records the start and end times of the assembly.
😎 Procedure:
The participant is blindfolded (opaque mask).
At the signal of the host, the timer starts.
The participant must assemble and light the hookah blindfolded.
As soon as the referee records the appearance of thick, stable smoke, the timer is stopped and the result is recorded.
🏆 Winner
The winner is the person who assembled and lit the hookah the fastest.
In case of disputes, the decision is made by the chief judge/competition host.
If the rules are violated (cheating, using outside help, violating safety regulations), the participant will be disqualified.
🔥 Additional information
Spectators can watch the process on the stage screens.
The host comments on the participants’ actions in real time.
The referee and hosts ensure complete fairness and equal conditions for all.
